As Tropical Storm Ophelia batters the Jersey Shore, here's the weekend's rainfall totals for Galloway:

GALLOWAY, NJ β€” It's been an incredibly wet weekend at the Jersey Shore as Tropical Storm Ophelia made landfall in North Carolina.

Areas have flooded throughout the coastal area, and rain is anticipated to continue into Monday, according to the latest forecasts. Atlantic County saw more than four inches of rain this weekend, preliminary National Weather Service data shows.

As of Sunday morning, the weekend's rainfall total for Galloway was 4.22 inches, according to the NWS.

Egg Harbor City saw 4.49 inches of rain - possibly the highest in the county - while Absecon saw 3.46 inches, NWS data said.

Hamilton received 3.57 inches of rain, according to the data.

Just north in Ocean County, Little Egg Harbor saw 3.22 inches of rain, according to the NWS.

Monday: Showers likely, mainly before 10 a.m. Cloudy, with a high near 60. Northeast wind around 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Monday night: A slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 49. Northeast wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
