Man Dies In Roof Exhaust Fan After Break-In Attempt: Galloway PD
A man attempting to break into a restaurant in Galloway died Monday after he became trapped within the roof exhaust fan, police said.
GALLOWAY, NJ — A man attempting to break into a restaurant in Galloway died Monday after he became trapped within the roof exhaust fan, police said.
Galloway police were dispatched to Two Brother’s From Italy Restaurant on White Horse Pike just before 10 a.m. for the report of a deceased man.
Police determined that the man attempted to gain entry into the restaurant via a rooftop exhaust fan. During the burglary attempt, the man became trapped within the exhaust fan and was unable to free himself, police said.

Authorities did not release the cause of death or a description of the man.
Identification of the deceased male is pending investigation by both the Galloway Township Police Department and the Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.

Galloway Township Police were also assisted by the Pomona Fire Department, the Galloway Township Ambulance Squad and the Atlantic City Fire Department.
