Man Found Dead In Galloway Restaurant's Roof Exhaust Fan Is ID’d
Authorities identified a man whose body was found in a rooftop exhaust fan on Monday as Phillip Maddelin, 58, of Mays Landing.
GALLOWAY, NJ — Authorities identified a man whose body was found in a rooftop exhaust fan on Monday as Phillip Maddelin, 58, of Mays Landing.
Galloway police believe Maddelin became trapped within the fan after attempting to break into the Two Brothers From Italy restaurant at 269 W. White Horse Pike.
The man gained entry to the restaurant through the rooftop fan and became trapped when he was unable to free himself, police said.

The identity of the man was confirmed by police and the Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
Authorities have not yet released the cause of death.
