Absecon police are seeking the public's help after a man was found dead with signs of trauma lying in the shoulder of a local road.
ABSECON, NJ — A man was found dead lying on the shoulder of a South Jersey roadway and authorities are seeking the public's help to discover what happened.
At about 6 p.m. Nov. 30, Absecon police responded to 911 call reporting a man lying in the shoulder of the roadway in the area of S. Shore Road near Iowa Avenue, according to a news release.
A dead adult man was found, with visible signs of trauma, police said.

Absecon police are investigating with the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
