NJ Corrections Officer Sexually Assaulted Inmate, Prosecutor Says
Sebastian Flores-Huamani, an officer at the Atlantic County Justice Facility, sexually assaulted an inmate in her cell, officials said.
MAYS LANDING, NJ — An Atlantic County Justice Facility corrections officer is accused of sexually assaulting an inmate, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
Sebastian Flores-Huamani, 24, is charged with second-degree sexual assault and second-degree official misconduct.
The inmate reported to jail authorities that Flores-Huamani entered her cell and sexually assaulted her, authorities said. The jail's professional standards unit contacted the prosecutor's office about the assault on Sept. 4, 2025.

Flores-Huamani was taken into custody at his Mays Landing home on Dec. 2, according to officials.
According to major discipline records, Flores-Huamani was previously suspended for 10 days in 2024 for failing to conduct a proper headcount.
