• Holiday Drunk Driving Crackdown Kicks Off In NJ (patch.com) — Galloway police will receive $8,750 in state grant funding for extra patrols and checkpoints during New Jersey’s “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” holiday crackdown, running Dec. 5 through Jan. 1, 2026. The campaign targets impaired driving statewide after hundreds of fatal crashes last year, urging residents to plan safe rides and avoid driving under the influence.
