Paving To Close Tilton Road For A Week In Galloway

Drivers, be aware: part of Tilton Road will be closed the week of July 8 for milling and paving, county officials said.

GALLOWAY, NJ — Drivers will want to be aware that part of Tilton Road in Galloway will be closed next week for milling and paving, according to Atlantic County officials.

Tilton Road will be closed between Route 30 and Wrangleboro Road beginning July 8 through 12 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting, officials said.

Southbound traffic will be detoured via Route 30 eastbound to Pomona Road southbound. Northbound local traffic will be permitted to enter the work zone at Wrangleboro Road, but all other traffic will be detoured via Pomona Road northbound to Route 30 westbound. All intersecting streets will be closed at Tilton Road.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
