Pitney Road Alternating Traffic Pattern Set In Galloway

Work was set to be done this week but postponed due to rain.

Starting March 8 and lasting about a week,  a one lane, alternating traffic pattern will be in place on Pitney Road about 1,000 feet north of the Ridgewood Avenue intersection, Galloway police said.

GALLOWAY, NJ — County drainage improvement work will change the traffic pattern on Pitney Road over the next week, police said.

Starting March 8 and lasting about a week, a one lane, alternating traffic pattern will be in place on Pitney Road about 1,000 feet north of the Ridgewood Avenue intersection, Galloway police said.

The work will be done weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting, according to police.

Police advise motorists to follow the posted work zone signs and plan travel time accordingly or seek a different route.
