GALLOWAY, NJ — New Jerseyans will head to the polls on Tuesday, June 10 to cast their vote in the 2025 Primary Election.

This fall, residents will be electing a new governor. Galoway also has a municipal election; four council seats are open.

In Atlantic County, two Board of Commissioners seats are open. Residents will also elect a surrogate.

Who's On The Ballot

  • Governor: Seeking the Republican nomination are Mario M. Kranjac, Jack Ciattarelli, Justin Barbera, Jon Bramnick and Bill Spadea. Seeking the Democratic nomination are Sean Spiller, Ras Baraka, Mikie Sherrill, Josh Gottheimer, Steve Sweeney and Steven Fulop.
  • NJ State Assembly (2nd District): Vote two. Seeking the Republican nomination are incumbents Don Guardian and Claire Swift. Seeking the Democratic nomination are Maureen Rowan, Joanne Famularo, Lisa Bonnano and Bruce Weekes.
  • Board of Commissioners: Two seats are open. Art Schenker seeks the at-large Republican nomination, Rich Dase seeks the District 4 Republican nomination. Running as Democrats are Victoria Dolceamore (at-large) and Jonathan Marcellus (District 4).
  • Atlantic County Surrogate: Vote one. James Curcio seeks the Republican nomination. Sherri Parmenter seeks the Democratic nomination.
  • Galloway Township Council: Four seats are open. Running as Republicans are R.J. Amato III, Thomas Bassford, Clifton Sudler, Jr. and Muhammad Umar. Running as Democrats are Rosemary Goldberg and Joyce Pratt; no petition was filed for the other two slots.
