Roads Closed For Flooding In Galloway Area: Police

ABSECON, NJ — The following roads are closed until further notice due to flooding on Tuesday, according to the Absecon Police Department:

• South Shore Road, from Route 30 to California Avenue;
• Ohio Avenue, from Station Avenue to South Shore Road; and
• East Faunce Landing Road, by the bulkhead area.

Drivers are also advised to avoid Turner Avenue. More road closures are expected as the day progresses and the tide rises. Due to high winds, water may take several hours to subside, and drivers are advised to seek alternate routes. A Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect for the rest of the day Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
