EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ - Flooding on Route 40 in Egg Harbor Township has prompted commuting delays in the area Friday morning, authorities said.

As of 12:22 a.m., there’s flooding on Route 40 in both directions west of the Atlantic City Expressway in Egg Harbor Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are currently closed, the agency said.
