EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ - Flooding on Route 40 in Egg Harbor Township has prompted commuting delays Tuesday morning, authorities said.

As of 6:35 a.m., there’s flooding on Route 40 in both directions east of CR 608/Franklin Avenue in Egg Harbor Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

One right lane is currently closed, the agency said.
