Runaway Cows Rescued After 3-Day Escape From South Jersey Farm
The two cows had just been delivered to Little Rascals Farm when they got loose, kicking off a three-day rescue mission.
EGG HARBOR TWP., NJ — Two cows have been safely returned to a South Jersey farm after a three-day jaunt in the woods.
Darla, a small black cow, and Maggie, a cream-colored cow with horns, had just been delivered to Little Rascals Farm last Tuesday, the farm owners shared. Fitting the farm's name, Maggie walked right through the electric fence and Darla followed, and the two cows were runaways in the woods of Atlantic County.
"What was supposed to be a fun day of having our new cows delivered has now turned into chaos," Little Rascals Farm said.

The farm shared updates on social media over the next three days as neighboring Frosti Acres Farm, a drone and trail cams tracked where the animals were going. The drone discovered that the cows were near Ballamor Golf Club in Egg Harbor Township.
By Friday, thanks to the help of three men, Maggie and Darla were returned home.
