See Galloway, Greater Egg Harbor District's Latest Niche Rankings

GALLOWAY, NJ — The Galloway Township and Greater Egg Harbor Regional school districts have kept their high scores in the latest Niche.com rankings released this week, with Greater Egg Harbor Regional schools ranking among the best in the state.

These rankings and grades, published annually for the past nine years, compare schools and districts across the United States by combining honest feedback from parents and students with hard data on schools, teachers, and student performance.

The latest Niche rankings give Galloway schools a "B-" overall, with one "C" grade in resources and facilities bringing the numbers down. The district is strongest in diversity and teachers, according to Niche. Out of 353 districts, it ranked number 29 in diversity.

Greater Egg Harbor Regional was given an "A" overall. Clubs and activities, sports and diversity all got an "A+" while its lowest score is a "B-" for resources and facilities.

Out of 245 "best" school districts in New Jersey, Ocean City comes in at number 63. It's number 4 for best districts for athletes, number 12 of 353 for most diverse and 36 out of 376 for best places to teach.

It was also named the best school district overall and best district for athletes in Atlantic County by Niche. Countywide, it was second for best places to teach and most diverse, and third for the best teachers.
