South Jersey Man Found With More Than 1,000 Child Porn Images

MAYS LANDING- An Absecon man has been arrested and charged with two counts of endangering a child after the FBI found over 1,000 child pornography images on various devices he owned, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said.

Carlos Santiago, 27, was arrested by members of the FBI's Child Exploitation Task Force on the morning of April 6, after a seven-month investigation, the prosecutor said.

Santiago had also distributed several of the images and videos of child pornography using his KIK accounty, Tyner said.

He is being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility, where the state is moving to detain him. Assistant Prosecutor Danielle Buckley of the Special Victim's Unit represents the state, he said.
