Tilton Road To Close For Work This Week In Galloway

GALLOWAY, NJ — Expect to take a different route this week if you drive on Tilton Road, officials said. Drainage improvements mean that the road will be closed a few days.

Closures on Tilton Road between Route 30 and Aloe Street will begin Wednesday, according to Atlantic County officials. The work will close the road from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on April 3 through 5, weather permitting.

The purpose of the closure is for drainage improvements, officials said.

Businesses within the work zone will remain open, but officials cautioned that access will be impacted.

County officials advise motorists to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek a different route.
