Tractor Trailer Driver Charged After Striking Traffic Pole
The driver was uninjured, but the pole broke off and fell on top of the truck, according to the police report.

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Police have charged the driver of a tractor trailer with careless driving after the vehicle struck a traffic signal pole early Tuesday morning.
Tommie Faircloth, 60, of Vidalia, GA was not injured in the 6:49 a.m. accident. It occurred on New York Road and East Great Creek Road. Faircloth was trying to make a right turn at the intersection when the accident occurred, police said.
The International tractor trailer hit the pole and snapped it. The pole became stuck on the top of the truck and the roadway had to be closed for roughly 15 minutes while the pole was removed, police said.
