• Student athletes shine at first ever Lip Sync Battle (thewhitonline.com) — Rowan student-athletes in Glassboro packed Esbjornson Gymnasium on Dec. 9 for the university’s first-ever Lip Sync Battle, where women’s volleyball claimed the title. Organizers and athletics leaders say the lighthearted competition helped athletes from different teams relax, bond, and find some joy together after a difficult year for the department.
   

• Gloucester County Launches Holiday Drive Sober Initiative (snjtoday.com) — Glassboro police are joining departments across Gloucester County in a holiday “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” crackdown running through New Year’s Day, with extra patrols funded by state traffic safety grants.
