Pedestrian Killed In South White Horse Pike Crash: Prosecutor

Authorities are currently seeking two vehicles in connection to the crash on South White Horse Pike earlier this month, authorities said.

LINDENWOLD, NJ - A pedestrian from Somerdale was killed in a motor vehicle crash that took place on South White Horse Pike earlier this month, authorities said.

On Dec. 8 at around 5:42 p.m., Lindenwold police were dispatched to the 600 block of South White Horse Pike for a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay said in a statement.

The pedestrian was later identified as Dal B. Baruwal, 53, of Somerdale, MacAulay said.

Baruwal was treated at the scene by EMS and paramedics and was taken to Jefferson-Stratford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at around 6:37 p.m.

Investigators are currently searching for a light-colored sedan - possibly a Tesla - with front-end damage and a dark-colored, small SUV, which may be a Buick Encore, in connection with the incident, MacAulay said.
