3 South Jersey Stores Begin Selling Recreational Weed: Where To Find Them

While the region still only has a handful of dispensaries, they're becoming more common.

SOUTH JERSEY — South Jersey now has a few more retail establishments selling recreational cannabis. While the region still only has a handful of dispensaries, including those serving medical patients, adult-use businesses continue to gradually enter the New Jersey market.

903 White Horse Rd., Voorhees

Sweetspot opened May 11 for both medical and recreational sales, becoming the newest of Camden County's six dispensaries. Cannabis company Sweetspot Farms also has stores in Maryland, Rhode Island and Maine, with plans to open this year in Connecticut.

The Voorhees dispensary is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Holistic Solutions

451 White Horse Pike, Atco

Holistic Solutions recently made history, when Suzan Nickelson became the first woman and the first Black woman to own a cannabis license in New Jersey. The business began offering recreational weed last month.

The dispensary's hours are:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Friday and Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Sunday: 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. (recreational sales end at 5 p.m. Sundays)

Holistic Solutions serves medical patients only until 10:30 a.m. each day.

Nova Farms

642 Mantua Pike, Woodbury

Check out South Jersey's newest dispensary. Nova Farms opened last week in Gloucester County. The Woodbury location only sells recreational weed, unlike New Jersey's other dispensaries that started out by serving medical patients.

The brand boasts New England's largest outdoor cannabis-growing operation, with a 90-acre farm near the Massachusetts-New York border

The Woodbury store is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
