Rowan College at Burlington County offers TWO PROGRAM OPTIONS!
Cost: $2149 (includes text book and 1 certification exam code)

RCBC in Partnership with Deborah Heart & Lung Phlebotomy Technician Spring Program Dates: March 3, 2026 - April 9, 2026
Course Length: Approx. 6 weeks
Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:00am-1:30pm, In-person at Deborah Heart & Lung in Browns Mills
Externship: Onsite at Deborah


RCBC Online/In-Person Phlebotomy Technician Program Dates:
April 13, 2026 - June 9, 2026 (Clinical Externship to Follow)
Class Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Online Classes (Instructor-Led) + Hands-On Lab at Campus (Last 3 Days) + 40-50 hour Clinical Externship to follow at Virtua Hospital or Cooper Hospital

Are you ready to make a difference in healthcare? As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will play an essential role in collecting blood samples for tests, transfusions, research, and donations—helping doctors and patients every day.

What You'll Do:

  • Draw blood for diagnostic tests, medical research, blood donations, and transfusions
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety while performing blood draws
  • Work in hospitals, medical laboratories, blood donor centers, and doctors' offices

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Have a High School Equivalency Diploma

  • American Heart Association CPR/BLS Certification, Background Check, Drug Screen, Health/Immunization Requirements
