White Horse Pike Crash Downs Pole, Causes Outages In Camden Co.

CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — A 1-mile stretch of the White Horse Pike remained closed Tuesday afternoon after a morning crash that brought down a pole and wires. But power throughout the area has been restored.

As of 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, the pike (Route 30) is closed in both directions from W Nicholson Road in Audubon to Cuthbert Road in Oaklyn, according to 511NJ. The area also includes a portion of Haddon Township.

Westbound detours have been posted. Expect eastbound delays of 5 to 10 minutes, officials said.

There were 1,400 power outages scattered throughout Audubon, Oaklyn and Haddon Township at 9 a.m. Tuesday, according to PSE&G. But power has been restored as of 10 a.m.

511NJ reported the crash at about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday.
