UPDATE: I-295 Reopens After Crash With Injuries In Camden Co.

Update, 2 p.m. Friday: The ramp has reopened.


BELLMAWR, NJ — A crash with injuries has closed a key exit ramp Friday on Interstate 295 in Camden County, officials said.

It was reported just before 1 p.m. on I-295 northbound at Exit 26S in Bellmawr. The exit links the highway to Route 42, Interstate 76 and Interstate 676.

The ramp lane remains closed as of this writing, according to 511NJ.

No other information was immediately available. Patch contacted officials with questions and will update with any response.

The crash happened in a busy corridor that gets more than 150,000 travelers per day. In 2023, the state completed the "Missing Moves" project, creating new ramps that linked I-295 northbound to Route 42 southbound, and Route 42 northbound to I-295 southbound.
