HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Haddon Township will have a full slate of Independence Day festivities during the holiday weekend.

The township will host a fireworks celebration on July 3, with a parade on the holiday itself. Here's what to know.

July 3, 7-9:30 p.m., at Haddon Township High School's football stadium

The night skies will come alive during the township's fireworks display. The event will also feature live music, food trucks and other amusements.

Admission is free. Stadium seating is available for viewing. Bring your own blanket to sit on the field.

Independence Day Parade

July 4, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Haddon Township Municipal Building

Parade entries will include bands, floats, fire trucks, pets and patriotic bikes, with prizes awarded in each category. The parade will travel down Haddon Avenue onto Crystal Lake Avenue, before ending at the Crystal Lake Pool Complex.

After the parade, the pool will remain open to township residents and their guests until 6 p.m.
