School Bond Referendum In Haddonfield To Be Decided In Tuesday Vote

Borough voters will determine whether to move forward with $46.7M in school upgrades, which would be partially covered through state funds.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Haddonfield voters will head to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to approve a $46.7 million bond referendum to fund major upgrades for the borough's schools.

A successful bond referendum will allow the Haddonfield School District to add classrooms, upgrade aging facilities and make the schools fully ADA-compliant, according to district officials.

It would also allow the school system to partially fund those projects through state taxes. Typically, school facility upgrades are fully funded by local property taxes.
