Here's Where Haddonfield, Haddon Township Homes Rank Among Priciest In NJ, Camden County
The state recently released the average residential-property value for all NJ cities and towns. Here's where the local communities fit in.
HADDONFIELD, NJ — Homes in Haddonfield cost significantly more than the state's as a whole, while residential properties in Haddon Township fall below New Jersey's average price.
Last week, the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (NJDCA) published its latest tax tables, which are based on 2022 data. The figures include the average residential-property value in each municipality, county and the state as a whole.
The average New Jersey home is valued at $351,702, according to state data. Home values average $516,913 in Haddonfield and $231,245 in Haddon Township.

Statewide, Haddonfield's home values rank 120th-highest out of 564 cities and towns, while the township ranks 376th. Out of Camden County's 36 municipalities, Haddonfield and Haddon Township respectively rank second and seventh in terms of average home values.
The average residential property in Camden County is valued at $191,957.

The county's most-valuable homes are in Tavistock, where the tiny borough with a single-digit population averages $1.7 million on each property. Audubon Park had the lowest average, at $41,483.
