Are You Ready, Kids? SpongeBob Experience Coming To Camden's Adventure Aquarium
Nickelodeon and the aquarium are partnering to celebrate 25 years of nautical nonsense since SpongeBob premiered.

CAMDEN, NJ — SpongeBob Squarepants is marking a quarter century on the airwaves, and the festivities are spilling out of Bikini Bottom.
Adventure Aquarium in Camden has partnered with Nickelodeon for a SpongeBob celebration. From July 15 through Sept. 15, the aquarium will host an "exclusive immersive SpongeBob experience" with SpongeBob-themed children's activities, episode screenings and more.

- two "fin-tastic," SpongeBob-themed photo ops
- episode screenings in the 3D Theater
- "absorbent activities" — SpongeBob SquarePants Earth Goal activity sheets will feature challenges to make eco-friendly decisions that aid residents of the aquarium and Bikini Bottom.
- sustainability education with SpongeBob on how to protects local waterways.
All activities are included with aquarium admission.
"Just like SpongeBob, we find wonder in every corner of the ocean," said Jennifer Porter, executive of Adventure Aquarium. "We invite our guests to join us this summer and dive into a sea of nostalgia and discovery."

Wednesday, July 17, will mark 25 years since "SpongeBob Squarepants" premiered on Nickelodeon. The show was created by Stephen Hillenburg — an animator and marine biology teacher, who died of ALS in 2018.
"SpongeBob Squarepants" has become one of the most successful children's shows in TV history, inspiring three feature films, a Broadway musical and the names of several species.
