HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ — It's not 1967, but the Summer of Love is still alive in Haddon Township.
The township's annual "Summer of Love" music festival takes place next weekend, celebrating music from the 60s through the 80s. The concert lineup includes Eddie Berner — a Burlington Township native who played lead guitar for new wave band A Flock of Seagulls from 1988-98.
The event runs from 2-10 p.m. Aug. 24 (rain date Aug. 25) on Haddon Avenue, between Strawbridge Avenue and Cooper Street. Festivities will include live music, a beer garden, artisans and makers, food trucks and a kid zone.
