Vehicle Thefts Spur Reminder From Haddonfield's Police Chief
Haddonfield has had multiple residents whose vehicles were recently stolen, according to the borough's police chief.
HADDONFIELD, NJ — Haddonfield has had multiple residents whose vehicles were recently stolen, according to the borough's police chief.
"As I say at every meeting, always lock your doors and take your keys," Haddonfield Police Chief Jason Cutler said in discussing the vehicle thefts at a recent meeting of Haddonfield's Borough Commissioners.
He added that the recent vehicle thefts in the borough have one thing in common.

"All of our vehicle thefts this year and last year, are from residents leaving their doors unlocked and keys in the vehicle," Cutler said. "I need to stress again [to residents] to please not do that."
Other communities throughout New Jersey have also reported an uptick in vehicle thefts in 2022.
