$3K Awarded By Hackensack Nonprofit To Camp For Bereaved Children
A Hackensack nonprofit has awarded $3,000 to Camp Clover, a four-day summer camp for bereaved youth.

HACKENSACK, NJ — A Hackensack foundation has awarded $3,000 to a nonprofit to support a four-day summer camp for bereaved children in first through eighth grades, the foundation said in a news release last week.
The Northern New Jersey Community Foundation, through its DeAnna Stark Memorial Fund, awarded the grant to benefit Camp Clover, a free camp in Warren for youth who have experienced the loss of a loved one in their lives.
"I chose (Camp Clover) because it serves children, like my own, whom have lost a parent, "Michael Pasciuto, husband of the late DeAnna Stark Pasciuto and the fund's advisor, said in the news release. "The camp offers them the opportunity to meet and connect with children in similar circumstances, while also bringing grieving families together. I felt the camp represents everything the fund stands for and directly connects with both our mission and my late wife's giving and caring nature."
