Attendance Rate Remains High at All District Schools

Attendance rates in the Heights district are about 95 percent or higher at all grade levels, according to figures provided by the state Department of Education.

For the past two years Heights comes either just in line or above the state average at each grade level as shown in the charts below which were taken from the DOE’s School Report Card for the 2010-2011 school year. 

There is very little change in attendance rates over the past two year between the district’s four schools or from grade to grade. However the rate of mobility, which is the percentage of students who entered and existed the district during the school year, increased for the 2010-2011 school year at the high school and middle school levels.

The mobility rate decreased for the 2010-2011 school year at both Euclid and Lincoln elementary schools. Across the board, the student mobility rate is below the state average at all district schools. See the charts below.
