Care on the Corner Celebrating 10 Years

All are welcome to the Saturday, June 8 event in celebration of the milestone anniversary

Care on the Corner has been offering numerous helpful resources to the Hasbrouck Heights and surrounding community for 10 years.

Now the non-profit organization, born out of the mission of the St. John's Episcopal Church, will celebrate this milestone this Saturday, June 8.

All are welcome to the anniversary party which will begin at 3 p.m. on the lawn of the Care Center at 333 Franklin Avenue, just off Terrace Avenue up the street from St. John's Church.

The social services organization sets out to meet the needs of the commuity. It started out offering English as a Second-Language classes, which it still continues to do today. Care on the Corner also met the community's needs for a place to let children be creative in the performing arts from which Kids on the Corner program was developed.

The organization has continued to grow rapidly over the years offering programs such as computer skills, grant writing and also offer a citizenship preparedness class. Numerous volunteers donate their services to teach the classes.
