Kindergarten teacher Maria Farruggio and student Nina Castellano shows parents some of the technology used in the classroom.

Hasbrouck Heights educators continue to use technology such as the iPad in their day to day instruction.

Euclid School Kindergarten teacher Maria Farrugglio showed the Board of Education and parents Thursday night how she uses the tool along with the smartboard technology to share a lesson or a project with the entire class.

Thanks to an air server which was put in by IT coordinator Robert Iarossi she is able to connect the iPad to the smartboard. With some help from her student Nina Castellano she showed the parents how is able to use the iPad as a document camera - taking a photo of a book or a project and then putting it on the smartboard so the entire class can see.
