Euclid School PTA once again went all out for the teachers of the elementary school to say "thank you" during annual Teacher Appreciation Week. Denise Buckman, presidents of the Euclid PTA, says appreciation week kicked off by inviting each teacher to a special caterd "thank you" luncheon sponsored by the PTA to be held on June 12. Tuesday was "Bingo Tuesday" where each class played the game and the winning class earned a free recess period and the teacher of that class received a gift basket with gift certificate to a spa. On Wednesday the PTA raffled off 22 gift bakets all with themes and two special ones which had tickets to see the Yankees or the Mets. On Thursday the PTA brought in a special lunch for the teachers and on Friday a continental breakfast. "On behalf of the Euclid School PTA we would like to give a very special 'thank you' to Euclid School teachers, staff, and Principal Sickels for an outstanding and successful job you have done this school year. We all make a great team," said Buckman. Euclid PTA also recently installed its new executive board for the new year: Denise Buckman- President; Kristin Schaffer- 1st Vice President; Shannon Porto- 2nd Vice Presidnet; Lori Bothe- Treasurer-; Allison Aurigemma - Correspondence Secretary and Lisa Castellano -Recording Secretary.
