Families gathered under the pavillion at Woodland Park enjoying burgers, hot dogs, and all the fixings of a picnic during the Hasbrouck Heights Republican Club's annual family picnic Saturday. The rain earlier in the afternoon didn't dampen spirits as folks enjoyed eating and conversation while the children played games like egg race, sack race and kicking the soccer ball around on the field when the sun came out.
