Fourth of July Celebrations This Week

Also this week, the latest on the park project, and the bus stops planned for the south end of the Boulevard.

Independence Day celebrations are planned for this week in Hasbrouck Heights.

The week will kick-off with the borough's annual Fireworks display once again sponsored by the Lions Club.

Fireworks show is set for Tuesday, July 2 at Depken Field. Tickets can still be purchased in advance at the Tax Office at Borough Hall, 320 Boulevard on Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $3 in advance and $5 at the gate.

Gates open at 7 p.m. on Tuesday and fireworks start at dark. There are two rain dates planned - Friday, July 5 and Sunday, July 7.

  • Construction began last week to put up the new pavilion at the Woodland Park and Patch will have the latest on when the project is expected to be complete. 
  • The borough has been taking steps to make bus stops on the south end of the Boulevard permanent. Patch will have the latest updates this week. 
  • A 7-Eleven will open at the Exxon gas station on Route 17 South - Patch will have news on when it's expected to be open. 
  • The annual Fourth of July Children's Parade is set for Thursday morning, July 4 at Woodland Park. Once again there will be contests for the most patriotic outfit or display.
