Giants' Coach Tom Coughlin Praises Parcells as a 'Great'
Coach Coughlin spoke about Bill Parcells' induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame at Giants training camp on Saturday.

Bill Parcells grew up in Hasbruck Heights and was a star football player at River Dell High School; now he is being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Giants Head Coach and member of the Parcells coaching tree, Tom Coughlin, was asked about his friend and former boss being inducted into the Hall of Fame at Giants camp on Saturday.
"I'm excited to celebrate Coach Parcells' induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame," said Coughlin. "We go to honor but we are also there to celebrate with his family. We are celebrating the apex of someone's career."
Parcells, who was born in Englewood, is a member of the 2013 class along with Larry Allen, Jonathan Ogden, Curley Culp, Dave Robinson, Warren Sapp and Chris Carter.
"We throw this 'great' word around in common usage today much too often but Bill Parcells is a great football coach," said Coughlin.
When asked if he might wonder about the hall of fame for himself one day, Coughlin stopped that conversation immediately.
"I don't even want to hear about that kind of thing."
He might not want to hear about it today, but Coughlin may be the subject of hall of fame discussions one day.
