SOUTH HACKENSACK, NJ — Mourning the loss of her loved ones a month ago in a South Hackensack house fire that left her "shattered completely," a woman has organized a fundraiser asking for the community's help to rebuild her life.
Giuseppina Savino, who lost her mother Teresa, fiancé Anton and pet cats in a house fire on June 10, started a GoFundMe page on Saturday, writing that, though she hates asking, she would "greatly appreciate" any help others can give.
"Honestly anything will help," Savino, who is living in temporary accommodation, wrote Sunday in an update.
