Heights Clock Tower Dedication, Fire Department Inspection This Week

Coming up on Patch this week
The Hasbrouck Heights community is invited to join in a special dedication ceremony this coming Saturday for a new clock tower which has been given to the borough by the Lions Club.
The dedication is set for 12 p.m. Saturday, May 11 in front of Borough Hall. The clock will have a historic look which will fit right in with the historicly designed light posts that already line the Boulevard in front of Borough Hall. The clock will be two-sided facing north and south.

The Lions Club, an 80-plus year old organization, continues to be a large supporter of the community.
Also this Saturday, the Hasbrouck Heights Volunteer Fire Department invites all to join in their annual inspection ceremony at 7 p.m. that evening.

This annual event provides an opportunity for families to bring their children to get a tour of the equipment and the fire house.
In the schools this week:
Lincoln School PTA hosts teacher appreciation week. Euclid School PTA has its plant sale running on Thursday and Friday. The Middle School students are off to their annual Washington DC trip.
