The municipal council election this year is for two seats and both Republican incumbents Sonya Buckman and David Gonzalez seek third terms. Carol Skiba, a former councilwoman, and Matthew Maginely are the Democratic challengers. June 4 is also the deadline for Independent candidates to file in order to run in the November election. Also this week <ul> <li>Patch will report on who plans to run for the three seats available on the Board of Education this year as the deadline to file petition to run in the November election is also Tuesday, June 4. </li> <li>We will have coverage from the Chic Charity Club Denim and Diamonds event this Thursday.
