Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department Chief Richard Giarratana welcomed back former volunteer Michael Ratkowski to Fire Engine Company No. 2. Tuesday night at the borough council meeting.
Ratkowsi formerly served as a volunteer firefighter in the borough for 25 years having first been appointed back in 1985. Giarratana called him a "valuable member" and is glad to have him back.
The department also welcomed Rebecca Ratkowski and Connor DiCorcia to the Ambulance Auxiliary.
