Heights Library Hosts Holiday Events
Lots of holiday events are in store at the Hasbrouck Heights Public Library throughout December.

Hasbrouck Heights Public Library gets the holiday season underway with a number of events this month.
The festivities begin Saturday, Dec. 1 with a free holiday concert for the family featuring the City Winds Trio.
Their program will include many of the traditional holiday favorites and selections from "The Nutcracker." The trio consists of Crispian Fordham, flute; Meredyth Coleman, oboe; and Yuki Higashi, bassoon.

The concert begins at 1 p.m. and will be held on the ground floor of the municipal building. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
Monday, Dec. 3 will be an exciting night for Heights youngsters as Santa will make a special visit to the library.

Youngsters can come to the library Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. for a special storytime and photo opp with Santa. Call the library at 201-288-0484 to inquire about registration as it is a popular event which fills up quickly.
On Wednesday, Dec. 19 the library will once again feature a holiday craft making event for teens which them together with the members of the Crafts-to-Share club. Working in teams the teens will make gingerbroad houses just in time for the holidays. Prizes will be awarded.
