High School Garden Serves as Memorial to Students
High school Key Club raised funds for the project
The Hasbrouck Heights Middle and High School building now has a garden just outside the main entrance thanks to the efforts of the school's Key Club.
The garden features two benches and a variety of colorful plantings. A stone with the inscription "forever remembered, forever missed" is in honor of the students who passed away in the past few years, says Abbe Lewites, Key Club advisor.
The Key Club raised the money for the garden and there may be plans to extend it in the future, said Lewites.
