HUMC Ranked No. 1 Hospital in New Jersey

Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) once again is at the top of the ranks in a U.S. News report.

The hospital ranks No. 1 in New Jersey and comes in as No. 3 in the New York Metro area.

HUMC ranked well above neighboring hospitals as Holy Name in Teaneck ranked 19th in the NYC region, while Englewood and Valley hospitals tied at 30th i the region. 

HUMC is ranked nationally in 9 adult and 1 pediatric specialties. It was found to be high-performing in the areas of diabetes and endocrinology, gynecology and nephrology.  According to the report, HUMC also scored high in patient safety, demonstrating commitment to reducing accidents and medical mistakes.
