Snow 'Likely' In Bergen County Before Christmas, NWS Says: See Which Day
The National Weather Service says snow is "likely" in Bergen County one day this week. See the forecast and track the storm here.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Snow may fall one day this week, the national National Weather Service says, with some accumulation "likely" on the eve of Christmas Eve.
"Snow likely after 1 a.m.," the NWS predicts for Monday into Tuesday. "Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible." Then, Tuesday, "Snow likely before 1 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 43. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent."
Winter begins this Sunday, the shortest day of the year.

Snow is expected to end in Hoboken by 10 a.m. Wind gusts of up to 20 MPH are expected later today, the National Weather Service says.
Below are photos taken between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Sunday. The day will be nine hours and 22 minutes, the state says.
