Lincoln PTA Appreciates Its Teachers

In honor of Teacher Appreciation week, the PTA treated them to a luncheon and encouraged the students to make tokens of appreciation for their teachers.

Lincoln School PTA hosted its teachers to a week-long of fun activities and special treats in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week earlier this month.

Students were encouraged to shower their teachers with their appreciation by making them a gift each day. Monday was give a teacher a poem day, Tuesday was give them a craft or drawing, Wednesday students were encouraged to share their favorite school memory. Thursday students were encouraged to give their teachers a "thank you" note and Friday carried the same theme along with a hug and a smile.

The week concluded with a luncheon for the teachers hosted by the PTA led by Roseann Kennelley and committee. It was held at the second floor meeting room at the municipal building featuring food from Sofia's Meditarranean Grill in Hasbrouck Heights.
