More than 4,000 Pounds Collected at Paper Shredding Event
Next event set for Saturday, Nov. 3.

The borough's paper shredding recycling event held this past Saturday yielded about 4,360 pounds of paper, reported Councilman David Gonzalez, who serves as liaison to the Environmental Commission.
Hasbrouck Heights hosts a free paper shredding event twice a year as a way for residents and business owners to have their sensitive documents discarded and recycled safely.
A mobile shredding and recycling truck was housed at the Central Avenue Park lot this past Saturday morning where residents dropped off boxes of paper to be recycled.
