New Shop Caters to Sports, Music Fans, Cell Phone Users

Shoppers now have a local shop for sportswear, cell phone accessories, music items and more now that Beast has opened its doors on the Boulevard.

Owners Len Zaccaro and Mike Vicchio have just recently opened the shop for business and continue to bring in more items for sale. Meanwhile there already is plenty of offer as the shop has the walls lined with sports jerseys, T-shirts, phone accessories and more catering to its growing clientele.

Cell phones and sports are two things both owners have in common as Zaccaro explained he and Vicchio formerly worked for a cell phone company and they are both "sports nuts." They named their shop Beast as it's a term that is popular among the kids these days, said Zaccaro.

A popular item already among the kids in town is the frozen rope chain which the shop sells in the town colors of orange and black, Zaccaro said.

One can tell the store carries of mix of fun items just by viewing the window display which showcases Yankee jerseys and T-shirts of punk and metal bands like the Ramones and Metallica.

Zaccaro they will still be adding more items in the coming weeks such as more jewelry and other accessories hoping to it have it all on display by the start of July.
