The new pavilion will be constructed around the old fireplace, a gift from the Lions Club from many years ago, the borough wanted to keep intact.

Originally the project was expected to be done by the beginning of May but Job said there were several delays along the way that have caused the project to get off schedule.

Park improvements are being done with funds partially coming in from grants. Half of this project is being paid for by a Bergen County Open Trust Fund grant with the borough funding the balance.
