Relay Supporters Paint Heights Purple
Supporters get ready for the June 1 to June 2 event.
The Hasbrouck Heights third annual Relay For Life is just around the corner and support continues to shine brightly around the community as fundraising and awareness efforts for this American Cancer Society event continue.
This past Saturday the Relay for Life team "painted the town purple" hanging purple ribbons all around town as a show of a support.
Amanda Kistner, Relay chairperson, says 29 teams are signed up for this year's event which is set for June 1 into June 2. The overnight event will be held once again at Depken Field. It's held overnight to show that cancer never sleeps.
